Sky Tonia Ferreira was born in Venice Beach, Los Angeles on July 8, 1992. She is an American singer-songwriter, model and actress.She is of Brazilian, Native American and Portuguese descent. Sky was largely raised bay her grandmother, who had been Michael Jackson´s personal stylist for over thirty years. As a teenager, Sky began uploading videos on my space of herself singing songs she had written, which led to her discovery bay producers Bloodshy and Avantand who made an eventual recording contract with Parlophone in 2009.
In 2011, she was featured in the advertising campaign for Calvin Klein "CK One" product line and was photographed for the cover of VS and appered in the Adidas "Originals" commercial with rappers Big Sean and Snoop Dogg.
In November 2013, Sky Ferreira and Icona Pop were announced as the opening acts for Miley Cyrus Bangerz Tour.
